Last week some of my patients shared their fun plans to travel this summer!
☀️
I always remind them to be mindful with their hearing aids when they travel, as routines can be different than the normal day-to-day rhythm…
☀️
Some tips for traveling with hearing aids:
Don’t forget your batteries or charger!
→Bring your spare case to store them if you remove them while on the go (swimming, pools, flights, boating, etc).
→Be CAREFUL with storing them in a safe spot. Many times when hearing aids go missing it’s due to carelessness of throwing the devices in your pocket or somewhere they can easily get lost!
→Bring any extra supplies you might need just in case! A few spare domes and wax filters don’t take up too much room. The last thing you want is to not be able to hear when you go out for a fun time!
Where will you go this summer!?
