New research has discovered that 87% of tinnitus patients can be helped with hearing devices with or without masking noise.
Masking noise is a sound that is played into the ear to alleviate the effects of tinnitus. Most individuals with tinnitus also have hearing loss.
Even for those who do not have hearing loss can be helped through the use of hearing devices. If tinnitus is bothersome, it is important to have a hearing evaluation and speak with your audiologist about ways to deal with the problem.
There are many ways to treat tinnitus, and some very easy changes to make to help alleviate the tinnitus. We work closely with our patients to help them to a better life. We would be happy to help you.
