How is your tinnitus affecting your quality of life?
Now that a lot of us are in different working environments we may be surrounded by more calm, more quiet. Although less stress has been known to reduce tinnitus, quiet environments, like working from home, can make you more aware of the tinnitus.
My patients are sometimes taken back a little bit when I tell them to avoid quiet environments and always have either a television or radio playing if they are home alone. The external sounds help you concentrate on something other than the tinnitus!
A good place to start when it comes to tinnitus is having your hearing tested by a professional. We are still on our phones scheduling appointments! We are now open for business! We have taken proper measures to ensure the safety of our staff as well as the safety of your family!
