Getting hearing aids for the first time is a big change for most people. You can hear much better in most situations. It also takes a little time just to get used to the routine of having and wearing hearing aids.
For most people, it takes about three weeks for something to become a habit. So, you have to think about them in the beginning, probably more than you would like to. That’s okay. Every day gets easier. Getting into a good routine is very helpful for everyone.
When the hearing aids come out at night, they go into the box in a safe place. The box should have its own spot, so that it doesn’t get misplaced. When you get dressed in the morning, the hearing aids go back into your ears and stay there until bedtime.
After a few weeks, you don’t even have to think about it anymore.
