Even with the best hearing aids, sometimes people with hearing loss still need some help with understanding what is being said to them. Thankfully, there are smartphone apps available that can transcribe what is being said in real time!
One app that our patients have used is Live Caption. You simply open the app and press the microphone button in the bottom corner to start the captioning. Then, hold your phone near the person talking and the app will transcribe what they’re saying!
