When an individual is considering hearing devices, it is important to keep the family involved. After all, the hearing devices are really for the whole family.
Because adjusting to hearing devices takes a little time and work, it is always best to take a family member or a friend along for the appointment.
It helps to hear a familiar voice during the fitting process. And it also helps to have another pair of ears along to hear the instructions and to learn reasonable expectations.
So, if you are asked to bring a loved one along to your appointment, it isn’t because we feel that you need help, it is to make the fitting and adjustment period easier on you and your loved one.
