It’s All in the Family
I frequently see husbands and wives come in together so that I can help one of them with their hearing. The partner with the worse hearing always gets the help that they need. Preventing Falls
A recent study showed that older adults who have had cataract surgery and wear hearing aids are far less likely to experience a fall. Since a fall can cause a major change in the quality of life, the study recommended that people do not wait too long after being diagnosed with cataracts before scheduling surgery.
