A few years ago, I worked with a gentleman who was 98 years old. He told me that his wife had been asking him to do something about his hearing for years. She had passed away a few months before I met him. He had probably had a hearing loss for close to 20 years and his wife had been helping as his interpreter. Crazy Conversations
I have two patients, a couple, who first came to me because they were having “crazy conversations.” One individual would ask a question, and the other would answer the questions with an answer that had nothing to do with the original question. Drawbacks to buying Hearing Aids online
Are those hearing aids you found online worth buying? The other day, one of my patients came in with a print out for a company in Nevada that would sell her the same hearing aids I was recommending for a great price. It sounded wonderful to her, but it was very misleading. It is illegal to mail order hearing aids in the United States. All 50 states prohibit this. When You Need A Little Extra Help
Big events often bring new people into my practice. By that I mean; special events, a birthday party, a visit with a grandchild, trip of a lifetime.
