Many years ago, I had a patient call me a couple hours after she got her hearing aids. She was so excited. She was making a salad and could hear the lettuce tearing in her hands. Flying with Hearing Aids
Are you flying this summer? Flying isn't as much fun anymore, but there are ways to make it better. If you wear hearing aids, there is no reason to take you aids out before you go through security. The screening devices won't hurt hearing aids and it is always easier if you can hear the directions.
